The possible medicinal benefits of cannabis plant have attracted a lot of attention lately. Even though the plant was attracting interest along the centuries. The medical potential of this adaptable is still under investigation. However, cannabis plant has attracted interest with the potential for cannabidiol, or CBD, to fasten the healing of wounds.
By contrasting the effectiveness of CBD with traditional wound care treatments — more especially, povidone-iodine — in encouraging wound healing in a controlled environment, described study aims to further investigate this developing topic. This study intends to give a thorough evaluation of how CBD compares to accepted medical therapies using a rat model with surgically created wounds, thereby opening the door for new methods to wound care.
